MCP docs
Connect OpenBookings to your AI app.
Ask your AI once, and it books the soonest opening closest to you. OpenBookings is a remote MCP server. Add the address below to your AI app, then ask for an appointment in plain words.
No account, key or sign in is needed. The server uses Streamable HTTP.

Any other MCP client
Use the address as a remote server with the Streamable HTTP transport and no authentication. Most clients accept a config like this one:
{
"mcpServers": {
"openbookings": { "type": "streamable-http", "url": "https://openbookings.ai/mcp" }
}
}Tools
- search_availability
- Finds the top 3 openings for a service near a city, neighbourhood or point, ranked soonest first, then closest. It reads only and changes nothing.
- book_slot
- Books the opening the user picked. It needs the user's name and an email or phone. Your AI should ask you to confirm first.
- get_booking
- Looks a booking up from its confirmation code and the email or phone used to book. It reads only.
- cancel_booking
- Cancels a booking and removes it from the business calendar. Your AI should ask you to confirm first.
Things to ask

- Book a teeth cleaning near Leslieville next week, any morning.
- Is there a vet in Rosemont who can see my dog tomorrow?
- Get a table for 4 in Old Montréal tonight around 7.
- Cancel my booking OB-7K2QXM-MTL. I booked with sam@example.com.
Where it works
Today OpenBookings covers Montréal and Toronto for med spas, dentists, hair salons and barbers, vets and restaurants. Some listings are marked example data while a city fills in. Bookings at those don't reach a real business, and your AI will tell you so.
Your data
OpenBookings sends your name and your email or phone only to the business you book. Your AI app does not share your chat with us, only the details in each request. To see, correct or delete your data, follow the steps on the support page.
